“You are a chosen people,
a royal priesthood,
a holy nation and
God’s special possession,
that you may declare
the praises of him
who called you
out of darkness
into his wonderful light.”
1 Peter 2:9

Did you know?

The Stone of Destiny is an ancient symbol of Scotland’s monarchy, used for centuries in the inauguration of its kings.

Seen as a holy and sacred object, its earliest origins are still unknown today.

Help us continue our work.

Your support will greatly help us to do more to conserve valuable records, collections and archives and provide more opportunities to learn about Scotland’s royal and holy history.
